We are pleased to invite you to join us at the 2024 International Congress of ILTS in Houston, Texas, USA, May 1-4, 2024.

Liver Disease and Transplantation: Breaking barriers and exploring new frontiers is the theme of this year’s congress. We are committed to providing multi-disciplinary innovations in the management of liver and biliary disorders requiring advanced therapy in transplantation. We hope that you can join us in person to enjoy one of the most exciting meetings of the year!

In 2024, you can look forward to a robust scientific program giving you valuable input for your day-to-day practice. Special formats such as the Pre-meeting Symposium, Meet the Experts Sessions, and workshops will enhance the educational content of the congress. Attending ILTS 2024 will allow you to discuss the latest advances in the care of liver transplantation patients and receive state-of-the-art updates in clinical and basic science. Two hands-on courses in robotic surgery and machine perfusion will offer in-depth practical knowledge. In addition, there will be sessions focussing on robotics, biliary disorders, transplant oncology, pediatric transplantation, transplant anesthesia and the management of complex liver disease. Finally, a dedicated allied health symposium will complement this rich program.

The ILTS Congress connects the world of liver transplantation with other liver therapies and advances. It is with great excitement that the International Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Association (IHPBA) and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association of Southern Africa (HPBASA) invite you to join us in Cape Town in 2024 for the 16th IHPBA World Congress, the first on the African continent.

The city of Cape Town, situated at the foot of Table Mountain, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature is one of the world’s highest ranked congress cities with top class congress facilities.

Work on the scientific program is underway and we envisage an interesting congress with, apart from topical updates, symposia and state of the art presentations, will also focus on HPB conditions and challenges faced by low-and middle-income countries.

Los resúmenes de comunicaciones se aceptarán únicamente en formato electrónico
a través de ESTE ENLACE (precisa registro previo, gratuito).

NORMAS ENVÍO COMUNICACIONES

• Máximo 10 autores por resumen (muy importante aportar todos los datos de los autores, incluido email, para poder hacer el envío de los certificados correspondientes).
• Texto del resumen libre estructurado en: Introducción, Material y Método, Resultados y Conclusiones
• El resumen (sin incluir títulos, autores y centros de trabajo) no puede superar las 400 palabras. En el caso de querer adjuntar una tabla o gráfico, no podrá superar las 300 palabras.
• El autor que presente la comunicación (en caso de ser aceptada), deberá estar inscrito en el Congreso.
• La evaluación de las comunicaciones se hace de forma anónima por parte de los revisores. Se indicarán los datos de centro de trabajo exclusivamente en el apartado correspondiente de los autores. No está permitido nombrar al centro/hospital en el título y/o texto del resumen. El incumplimiento de esta norma puede suponer una penalización en la valoración.
