Estimados ponentes y moderadores del 6º Congreso SET, lo primero desear que estéis todos bien.
Como todos sabéis de primera mano, la situación tan excepcional que estamos viviendo a nivel global con el brote de COVID-19, está provocando la readaptación de todos los estamentos y la reorganización de todo tipo de actividades previstas, que obviamente no van a poder llevarse a cabo en estos momentos.
Desde la SET, tan pronto como hemos tenido las primeras informaciones desde el Ministerio de Sanidad, nos hemos centrado principalmente en gestionar la información prioritaria dirigida a profesionales y pacientes. Pero simultáneamente hemos estado trabajando en buscar opciones para que la celebración del 6º Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Trasplante, que estaba previsto inicialmente para el mes de mayo, pueda realizarse en las mejores condiciones de seguridad y sin interferir con otro tipo de actividades, principalmente la asistencial, en la que obviamente todos los participantes estaréis involucrados al máximo en próximas fechas.
En línea con lo anterior, os comunicamos que el 6º Congreso de la SET, quedaría pospuesto hasta el 12-14 de febrero de 2021, manteniendo la misma sede en Málaga (FYCMA).
En principio, el programa científico se mantendrá tal y como estaba previsto (obviamente introduciendo información relevante sobre este brote de COVID-19) y por supuesto, esperamos seguir contando con vuestra participación. En ese sentido, os pedimos anotar estas nuevas fechas en vuestra agenda y se os irá contactando individualmente a partir de las próximas semanas, confirmando las nuevas fechas/horas de participación para solicitar vuestra disponibilidad y conformidad.
Muchas gracias de antemano por vuestra comprensión y colaboración, para que este congreso pueda llevarse a cabo con las máximas garantías de seguridad y alto nivel científico que caracterizan a la Sociedad Española de Trasplante.

Dear invited speakers of the 6th National Congress of the Spanish Society of Transplantation, first of all, we wish you are all healthy and fine.
As you might know firsthand, this exceptional situation that we are experiencing globally with the outbreak of COVID-19, is causing the re-adaptation of all sectors and thus, the reorganization of all kind of planned activities, which obviously will not be able to take out from now on.
From the Spanish Society of Transplantation, as soon as we have had the first outcomes from the Ministry of Health, we have focused mainly on managing priority information for professionals and patients. But simultaneously we have been working to explore different options so that the celebration of the 6th Congress of the Spanish Society of Transplantation, which was originally planned for next May, could be carried out in the best security conditions and of course, without interfering with other activities, mainly healthcare related, in which obviously all participants will be fully involved in the near future.
Accordingly with the above mentioned, we inform you that the 6th SET Congress, will be postponed until February 12th-14th 2021, with the same main structure and keeping the venue as planned, in Málaga (FYCMA).
The scientific program will be kept the same, (although we will of course introduce information related to the current COVID-19 outbreak) and we hope to continue counting on your valuable participation. In this regard, we kindly ask you to save the dates as you will be contacted individually in the next few weeks, to confirm the new dates/times of your presentation and requesting your availability and confirmation.
Thank you very much for your understanding and collaboration, so that this congress can be carried out with the highest level of safety guarantees and the top scientific level that characterizes the Spanish Society of Transplantation.
